@ZacksJerryRig very
jack
my quick posts!
https://posts.j4ck.xyz/@neswas2short @Stealth40k honestly not bad. i’m thinking of it in terms of how the Wii U got some of the Switch games at first, but i’m sure this is diff since it’s technically the same underlying console i guess
@ControlPanelFT you should implement it hahaha
@ControlPanelFT or not! :D
@dotavocado @ParkerOrtolani not sure, parts of it feel like it, but their seemingly big announcement earlier makes me think they’re releasing it to the public. pretty unimpressive to me though. we’ll see what they do in future ig tho
idk, it ofc applies it to twitter dot com and x dot com (whichever you wanna use, yes you can still get on twitter with something like @ControlPanelFT )
greasyfork script here: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/537481-x-to-twitter-text-replacer
- still not EXTREMELY stable, and there are some bugs
if anyone wants to apply fixes to this, feel free to fork it or whatever (if you can do that?) - or send me it and i’ll replace w/ credits
but look at this page https://help.x.com/en/using-x/how-to-post#source-labels
lmao, they never even updated the actual content to be the same as X – not reflecting that they removed the tweet source in 2022. kinda funny to me.
like i swear the company probably just ran some regex filter over the word “twitter” and changed it to “x” 💀 (in an inefficient way that hasn’t even worked everywhere)
btw, it doesn’t replace the text in tweets or user generated content (bios, etc..) - only raw site content (e.g. the trends, stuff on twitter’s actual site).
it works on the developer docs, help section, etc.. and it’s literally just like old twitter (to an extent)
