but considering most of the time i just use it plugged in anyway (and not on the monitor) it’s been a great experience. literally just the debian iso setup with the GNOME desktop :)

monitor at my desk, where it will literally just work sometimes and not others, and idk what it is. i’ve tried multiple HDMI cables (of which work with other devices anyway), and it occasionally works on reboot, but not every time (i have updated all the drivers to the latest).

found a nice japanese-style wallpaper from pinterest which i am using as the wallpaper, along with some minimal icons and i think it looks decent (for linux) – not as nice as those ones on reddit tho lmao

only issue is i’m having some weird bugs when i plug my laptop into my

woah just realised I’ve had this debian install for nearly 2 weeks now! it’s literally been perfect (other than battery ofc).

quicker than windows, let’s me have far more apps open at once than win11 did. it’s great, and gnome looks so clean (esp with custom tweaks).
