the listing shows it as 16GB RAM, I’m praying this is soldered. then I can add the 16GB stick from my current laptop and get 32GB!

@actuallyaridan for anyone curious, it was originalyl around £1,100 new when it launched in 2021 afaict, and we found it renewed on amazon for £300 :), pretty happy with this! since it’s built for businesses primarily, should have that good thinkpad build quality too!

it’s pretty cool though, it supports up to 48GB RAM (given that the 16GB is soldered, and not a combo of 8GB soldered + an 8GB stick, but I think that’d be weird to sell it as, given it was probably owned by a business).

and it has a good clock speed (boosted) of 4.8Ghz!

will also have that nice Thinkpad keyboard (which has working UIOP keys!) and a decent, functional battery (at least Amazon Renewed claims it will be at least 80% of its original capacity)

it’s got a core i7 11th gen, so pretty good upgrade from the 8th gen core i7 in my current laptop,

really excited, it’s my birthday in a little over a week and my parents let me pick a laptop to get within a budget range, so i picked a Thinkpad T14 Gen 2! really appreciate it, will be a nice upgrade from my current laptop :)
