This worked for me, so I’m not sure why X hasn’t rolled this out for everyone, I hope they do, including on iOS & Android.

It probably required having international texts & calls but this works so please @X @Support implement this.

Works much better than whatever you guys have going on for mobile devices.

Ok, I found a workaround for verifying phone numbers. If you are on mobile and it says “this operator is not supported” I used a VPN to connect to London then went on web and it did this new thing which made me scan a QR code and then send a text message.

I didn’t know what else to pick (as you can tell!)

Including bsky (when they first required phone number verification when they went public in February).

Would appreciate a change to this, since me and many other users I’ve noticed cant verify our own numbers.

Especially needs to be fixed if you guys have a future where everyone pays for subscription (less reliant on ads), imo. & when you literally want phone calling to be replaced by calling on here lol kinda ironic
