I’m just confused tho bc my sisters old laptop (was my main) is actually decent. Got an 8th gen i7 iirc and I upgraded the RAM and SSD in it so it was pretty usable. Only issue was the stuff I mentioned :/. And that was bought in like 2018 for the same price range

what I should be more concerned about is why TF Lenovo sold a brand new laptop in 2022(!) for about £400 with a DUAL CORE CPU

@ParkerOrtolani I’m really confused with them. At first I updated a few weeks after the iOS 26 launch and it had it, then they removed it from most components (only seen in things like attaching photos/files) and since it’s just mostly gone

Fedora on it. I’m hoping I’ll only need to use this for a few months before I can hopefully get a new laptop. I’m looking around for used/refurbished Apple silicon MacBooks on eBay atm 😭

old one had a SHIT dual-core CPU (AMD Radeon 3020e), but a working keyboard, and better battery.

now I’ve moved over my SSDs and the 16GB RAM stick from my current laptop to the old one bc the keyboard pissed me off.

just spent the last ~1.5hrs taking apart two laptops. my current one (sister’s old one), and my old one.

my current one has an issue where the UIOP keys often cut out, or double when I click them once, and has a shit battery. but a better CPU.
