@_jstgolden @actuallyaridan @NeoFreeBird well you can follow their instructions more in depth, but generally:

  • install Mac app
  • download NFB IPA
  • plug in iPhone
  • drag and drop NFB’s IPA into Sideloadly and select to do it to your iPhone
  • start the process
  • wait and it’s installed (will have to “trust” ur dev acc)

@s_carruthtx i really should but not really… i did the thing where it merged duplicate photos and i deleted some videos, but i have so much stuff (I think 17k total photos + videos?)

I did tell her about iCloud families, but my older sister & dad have android phones.. still though, for 4 Apple IDs it might not be too bad.. we’ll see how it goes I guess

I told my mum this the other day and she did mention she’d pay for the storage for me but I don’t want her to pay an extra £8.99/mo for my Apple ID since her 200GB is also full and she’d have to pay that too

iCloud storage is full, iPhone won’t backup rn. Photos are already going to Google Photos, but I really need to setup Immich and some sort of easy-to-host self hosted cloud storage.

I’m on the 200GB plan and don’t need 2TB so won’t pay that much per month, but damn :/
