@thebrewergame honestly i’m still unsure myself. googling it isn’t really helping, but it seems to be specific to atproto for downloading entire repos of stuff.
i wish they had a normal .json one, that’s far easier to read and parse.. but .car seems to have WAY small file sizes, and require

I have over 28,000 bluesky posts… ima find a way to download them all (including media), filter out the replies, then try to convert it into some sort of local journal thing i can search..
