i’m posting thoughts on google i/o directly on my site (which auto crossposts to my other socials which you can see on my site)
had twitter have kept their api fully open (FOR APPS to use too) then it would have been here. their fault!

no matter what people think of the ai music, i think google’s whole stage is pretty cool (even tho it’s not exactly “new”) and i LOVE how they actually do live events unlike Apple’s prerecorded ones.. although i can’t remember how much of this is pre-recorded vs a live demo.

huh - anyone know what happened here?
this was from yesterday (I think) where #Microsoft had their event thing.. around 50s-1m in you can hear people shouting at the back?
I’ve seen a MS thing before where people were protesting.. what’s it for?
Excited to watch Google I/O tonight! Nice way to start my 2 weeks “off”* before my next set of exams
*still working in between ofc 🥲🙃
Ooh! New version of Tapestry!
The sound effects are really fun! 🤣 (sounds a bit like Ivory/Tweetbit) + the interaction in-app is super useful :)
hope it didn’t too too much damage to the 🔋
oh yh did something really dumb. I was putting my phone in my bag before the (2 hours 15 minutes!!) English literature GCSE earlier, but I think I clicked the camera control button. Came out and my phone was REALLY hot & had dropped to 35% (from ~90%)
