i personally use tailscale to access it from my web browser (as it’s hosted on a friend’s VM) but i’m sure there’d be ways to host it without in a diff location without having to even rely on tailscale.

pay only for what you use.

honestly, before i’d have recommend t3 chat to anyone looking for a cheaper AI, but you get far more (+ security of knowing it won’t go anywhere in future!) if you host openwebui. obvs requires more of a technical knowledge, but it’s super easy to install on a VM or Pi.
