but i really mainly want the T14 for the upgradeability with the RAM, and easily swappable parts.

this is starting to feel pretty scummy 😭 - i assumed Amazon Renewed would check through this stuff, clearly not as much as i’d thought.
i mean, don’t get me wrong, this is still a good laptop, but yeah the issues in the quoted thread put me off it :P
they’ve now replied offering a £20 compensation…
gonna message them back and ask if we can just send back this laptop and receive the correct laptop when my mum’s back.
