@0xtiago_ yeah, since then that’s changed tbf

@0xtiago_ but fwiw, i agree on the bad moderation: https://bsky.app/profile/j4ck.xyz/post/3lvnlipft4s2q
and this is what their head of T&S said: https://bsky.app/profile/aaron.bsky.team/post/3lvnrrydoqs2q
@0xtiago_ they only hide the discover feed iirc, and i think the appview. the rest is open source, and open source replacements exist for the appview.
nothing, but you claimed that bluesky is centralised
@0xtiago_ where as on the atmosphere, all my content exists in my repo, on my self hosted server in london
@0xtiago_ yes… but twitter owns the data. it can be distributed, sure, but it’s all controlled by twitter inc / x corp
@0xtiago_ it to migrate
i’d also like to know how twitter have users’ content publicly accessible in a repository? if you’re banned from twitter, is your content still out there on another layer?
@0xtiago_ again, it’s early stages, this time last year there were no PDSs you could join without requiring an invite code. now that’s totally different, and whilst they’re not huuuuge, tools like http://pdsmoover.com are super easy for ppl to use, and many average users have now used
@0xtiago_ do you use the “show less” button? it really helps. also, who do you follow over there? bc they must be liking a lot of those types of posts for them to be in your discover/for you feeds
@0xtiago_ and they are still working on that infrastructure. but your other points are just invalid, and there’s proof against it
@0xtiago_ which i self host at http://pds.j4ck.xyz
and on that last point, it’s obviously going to be smaller. only 2 years ago did it open up to the public.
i get that the moderation is far from perfect - i have even let their head of moderation, who follows me, know that
