@0xtiago_ most of how it runs really isn’t centralised. anybody can go out and build a relay or indexer service which acts in the hands of the community (e.g. blacksky) – all content is publicly accessible (you can view my posts here https://pds.ls/at://did:plc:4hawmtgzjx3vclfyphbhfn7v/app.bsky.feed.post - pulled straight from my PDS!)

@0xtiago_ as they share the http://standard.site standard lexicon, which is designed for blog-like applications. allows for indexers to collect one type of record and do whatever with the content from that
@0xtiago_ nah there was actually a point where streamplace had a lot. it’s still early, but just the other day, bluesky had an in-office stream which had ~200 live viewers

@0xtiago_ yea that sucks a bit. although in the past month or so the discussion on AI has actually been less bad on bsky. waaaay less paranoid people like that, and a lot of people actually praising it or positively posting about it
